BRIDGING PROMISES AND REALITY

Development promises mean nothing without delivery.

Every year, billions are allocated for poverty eradication, healthcare, education, and social protection. Yet marginalised communities continue to face exclusion.

For 20 years, Wada Na Todo Abhiyan has monitored whether India's development commitments become reality.

We publish annual governance reviews, track SDG progress, and submit people’s manifestos to political parties, grounding all our work in evidence generated with government, civil society, and marginalised communities to ensure no one is left behind.

HOW WE WORK WITH KEY STAKEHOLDERS

With

Government and United Nations:

We have had a long history of engaging with official policymakers, starting from the review of the Common Minimum Programme in 2004 and contributing to multiple 5-year plans with the Planning Commission.

In recent years, this work has extended to contributing to the Voluntary National Reviews held by NITI Aayog.
