Collaborations with Civil Society Globally
Our global engagement focuses on representing civil society evidence in international policy spaces. We engage with various stakeholders at the Asia Pacific Forum for Sustainable Development and participate in APRCEM’s Asia Pacific People’s Forum and the World Social Forum. We take part in the UN Civil Society Conference, contributing within the Leave No One Behind framework, and join the High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development, where we host side events on collaboration under LNOB and Citizen-Generated Data.
Engagement With Global Civil Society Processes
We work towards strengthening SDG awareness by mobilising communities and connecting their demands to global advocacy efforts. International civil society campaigns and digital actions form another key area of our engagement, all aimed towards reducing social, economic, and geographical inequalities.

Annually, during the Global Weeks of Action, we also work with Action 4 Sustainable Development (A4SD), Global Call to Action against Poverty (GCAP), and civil society in India to coordinate awareness activities, ensuring community voices drive calls for accelerated progress on the 2030 Agenda.

We also continue to engage with the World Social Forum (WSF) and Asia Pacific Social Forum (APSF), carrying forward our legacy of first coming together in 2004 at the WSF Mumbai.

Representation In United Nations Forums
We routinely engage with the international platforms hosted by the United Nations, representing the voices of marginalised communities and civil society in India.
We’ve contributed to conversations held at the UN Asia Pacific Forum for Sustainable Development 2025, UN Civil Society Conference 2024 in Nairobi, Digital Roundtable with Civil Society on UNDP's New Strategic Plan in 2024, UN World Data Forum 2024 in Medellín, and the Regional Workshop for the Global Sustainable Development Report in New Delhi.

Our work on citizen data and related engagement with the LNOB Partnership, led by the International Civil Society Center, Germany, has contributed to the formation and evolution of the Copenhagen Framework on Citizen Data. We continue to participate in the Expert Group Meetings on Citizen Data hosted by the UN Statistics Division and the Collaborative on Citizen Data, continuing to bring a community-first agenda to global policy spaces.
